Post Christmas trip

 We took the train to Chicago and spent a few days there.  We went to see the Blue Man Group, a musical of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a nighttime light show at the zoo, and we visited some restaurants too.   It was a quick trip but we had fun exploring.

Evans junior high band winter concert 2023

The winter band concert was the first time that Levi and I played in the same concert at school.  The 5th graders were in the first session of the evening and the 8th graders were in the second session of the evening.   Levi's band did well especially since it was their first official concert.  My band also did well.  We have progressed a lot during our time in junior high band. Fall volleyball

 Cousin Natalie played varsity volleyball for Normal West and their team made a post season run.  It was fun and sometimes stressful to watch the team play.   She is a great athlete!
